Privacy policy

This policy explains how Yoel Holdings LLC (“MyPetMug”, “we”) handles personal information when you visit mypetmug.com or buy from us. Last updated: October 30, 2026.

What we collect

  • Order details: your name, email, shipping address, optional phone number and what you ordered.
  • Your photo and design: the photo you upload, the finished print file and the name or text you add. While you design, your photo stays in your browser. It is only uploaded when you add a mug to your bag, or when you tap “Remove background”: then the photo is sent to a background-removal service (Kie.ai), which processes it only to cut out your pet and deletes it within 24 hours. We keep the cut-out privately for 7 days.
  • Payment: card and wallet payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

Only to make and deliver your order, to send order emails, to help you when you contact us, to prevent fraud, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use your photo for advertising or anything other than your order.

Who we share it with

  • Payrexx (payment processing).
  • Gelato and its U.S. print and shipping partners, including the carrier (printing and delivery). They receive your print file and shipping details.
  • Our hosting and email providers, which store and send data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep your photo and print file only as long as we need them to make your order and to handle a replacement, and order records as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete your photo at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to delete your photo early, by emailing hello@mypetmug.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor them. We don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

MyPetMug is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
