How does the magic mug work?+
The mug is glossy black when it’s cold. Pour in coffee, tea or cocoa and the heat reveals the full design. As it cools down, it turns black again, ready for the next surprise.
How do I care for it?+
Hand-wash only, and please don’t put it in the microwave or dishwasher. Heat-reactive coating lasts much longer with gentle washing.
Why do I see a dog before uploading?+
That’s a sample photo so you can see the design. It’s replaced by your photo as soon as you add one.
What happens to my photo?+
It stays in your browser while you design. If you tap “Remove background”, the photo is sent to a background-removal service (Kie.ai), which deletes it within 24 hours; we keep the cut-out privately for 7 days. When you add the mug to your bag, the photo and the finished print are saved privately so we can print your mug. We never use it for anything else, never for marketing.
Where do you ship?+
Within the U.S. only. Every mug is printed on demand by our U.S. print partner and shipped free with tracking (USPS Ground Advantage). Most orders arrive within 6 to 14 business days.
